White Horse Inn
The White Horse Inn, also in Ampleforth, is a former 18th Century coaching inn with log fires, oak beamed ceilings, flagstone floors, candlelit tables and a warm friendly atmosphere. A wide choice of meals is available, plus traditional hand pulled guest beers such as Timothy Taylor, Wold Gold, Anglers Reward and Black Sheep and fine wines by the glass; New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc being a firm favourite with many locals.
